| Becky was crowned Miss Pinto America
on July 14, 2001. It was exciting for her and a dream come
true. She was also Nebraska's Youth President 2002 and has been showing and involved with Nebraska Pinto for the past
8 years.
Becky and Izaak earned their Youth Championship
in 1999. They have also earned their Youth Versatility award, Youth Certificate of
Superior Ability, and their Youth Superior Achievement Award. Together they have earned over 18
YA ROM's and 5 YA ROE's. Becky and Izaak were high point youth in 1998 in Keyhole, Pole Bending, Western Riding, and
Hunter Hack., in 1999 they were high point in Flag Race. They have been high point winners in Zone 3, earning 1st place Sr. Youth in
1998 and 2000, and 3rd in 1999 and 2001. Becky has been Nebraska's overall high point champion for the past
4 years earning several saddles and also their Youth 14 - 18 high point champion. In
2002 - Becky and Izaak won their YA Supreme Champion and YA and
Open Superior Performance Award. Becky also won her YA
Champion with the gelding, Blue Eye Special. Blue was leased
for 2002 and now has a home with Kristin in MN. |

Becky is very involved in school and community activities. She is involved in
"Therapy Dog" which is a program where she takes her Dalmatian, Patch, to area nursing homes, where the elderly can spend time with the dogs. Becky
was involved in Campus Ministry through her school, and HYC, which is a Humphrey Youth Council. Becky
was also in drama and a member of the honor roll.
Becky's year as '01-'02 Miss Pinto of America was a time to
remember. There have been so many people that have become a
big part of her life. Thank you Pinto for making her year as
Miss Pinto of America so special!
